Letter from the Athletic Department
January 2025
Dear Lindenwold District families,
The exciting time has arrived where our winter sports programs kick off another successful athletic year. As we eagerly anticipate seeing our Lindenwold families and visitors at our athletic complex, we kindly ask that you take a moment to read and review our spectator policies. By doing so, we can ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone, while creating a supportive atmosphere that truly reflects our Lindenwold Pride!
Please review the following guidelines in accordance with our Lindenwold Sportsmanship Policy:
• All middle and elementary school students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to attend the event.
• High school students are required to present a valid student ID on-site to purchase tickets.
• Only medical masks are allowed; ski masks are strictly prohibited.
• Re-entry to the ticketed game is not permitted once spectators exit the venue.
Starting in the 2024-2025 school year, the NJSIAA has implemented a Spectator Code of Conduct. The Colonial Conference has implemented a Tiered Code of Conduct for all spectators, coaches, athletes, and pa1iicipants. This policy prohibits unsportsmanlike behavior by spectators, coaches, athletes, or participants towards officials, coaches, players, spectators, school staff, or security at any athletic event.
Please review the Colonial Conference Tiered Code of Conduct attached to this letter.
All Colonial Conference schools have the authority to select the appropriate tier of discipline and enforce the Code of Conduct accordingly.
In case of multiple offenses, schools may adjust the tier of consequences at their discretion.
Most importantly, attendance at interscholastic sporting events is a privilege. Our athletes and coaches are working extremely hard in their respective sport. We appreciate everyone's efforts in following these guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable sports experience for all who visit our athletic facilities. Thank you for your ongoing partnership and support of our students. Go Lindenwold Lions!
Warmest Regards,
Noel J. Maloney
